Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jago Holmes and I am the principal trainer here at New Image Personal Training in Halifax.  I own and manage Calderdales largest independently owned personal training company.  We regularly work with over 200 clients each week in our exclusive one to one studios in Warley, Ripponden and Hipperholme.

So What Exactly is The 8 Week Challenge?

The 8 week challenge is a group weight loss competition where the challengers all take part in organised outdoor exercise sessions based on fitness walking, run by us and also attend 2 'take action' workshops over the course of the 8 weeks.

3rd Prize  -  WIN a Meal Out for 2

£500.00 Cash PrizeThe winner is decided by an independent panel of judges, no members of staff at New Image will have any influence on the outcome of the challenge.  The winner, second and third place prizes are chosen by considering a number of factors, NOT JUST THE  AMOUNT OF WEIGHT LOST.  Fitness levels, appearance, change in attitudes and habits are all factors taken in to account. 

What do you get for the 8 week challenge?

  • Monday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Thursday evenings and 2 Sunday mornings (throughout the challenge, dates to be confirmed) are all activity sessions (sessions based on fitness walking).  PLEASE NOTE you do not have to attend all of these sessions each week, but you must be able to attend at least 2 out of 3 sessions each week
  • Group Dietary guidance and planning…you’ll learn what types of foods to eat and when to plan your meals. 
  • Group activity planning, you’ll learn just how much exercise to do and when to do it.
  • You will receive a FREE nutritional manual which contains all the information you need, including many snack ideas and recipes

On the second challenge in 2006 - 24 people took part...

  • 95% of the participants lost at least 2% body fat
  • ALL the participants noticed massive improvements in their fitness levels

And finally...all the participants that completed the challenge looked dramatically different at the end of the challenge

So How much does all this cost?

For 3 sessions a week for 8 weeks (that’s a possible 24 sessions), 2 “Take Action Nutritional Seminars” and 2 'personal challenges' the cost of the 8 week challenge is just £170.00.   

To be entered in for eligibility of the prizes you must go through the registration process.  This basically involves completing health questionnaires, having body fat measurements taken, body weight, hips and waist measurements and photos taken.  This process is also repeated at the end of the challenge.  The cost for registration is just £25.00.  PLEASE NOTE, you can enter the challenge if you do not choose to be registered, you just can’t be entered in the prize fund.

The cost of all this is just £170.00 + £25.00 registration fee.

How do I pay for the 8 week Challenge?

All participants must pay a deposit of £30.00 to secure their place for the challenge and the balance paid in full or easy payment paperwork received in advance before the start of the challenge.  Closing date for all challengers is 15th February.  Please contact us immediately to reserve your place and avoid disappointment.
